Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to procure a PERL Software Enterprise License and technical and maintenance support to ActiveState for the IRS Computing Systems located at Martinsburg Computing Center (MCC) in Martinsburg, WV, Tennessee Computing Center (TCC) in Memphis, Tennessee, and Detroit Computing Center (DCC) in Detroit, MI. Under this contract, the IRS also intends to procure PERL software, technical support, maintenance and training services. The purchase of these services will support the Tier II consolidation effort at MCC, TCC, and DCC. The PERL software will reside on Tier II SUN E10/Ks and/or SUNF15Ks mainframe. Installation of the PERL software will be conducted by IRS personnel. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance consisting of one base year and one option year. All responsible sources that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by the specified dated (August 16, 2002). All quotes shall include FOB Destination charges, point of contact (name and telephone numbers), GSA Contract Number, if applicable, business size and payment terms. All questions must be submitted in writing.
