Description
This sources sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying sources for non-developmental, commercial off the shelf, multichannel digital audio/data recorder (DADR) system and ancillary equipment. The audio/data recorder shall be capable of recording and playing back air traffic control (ATC) communications and radar video data with all recorded data synchronized to a recorded time stamp. The radar Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) radar data is in Frequency Shift Key (FSK) data format or via an RS-232/RS-422 interface. The recorder/reproducer shall be expandable for audio channels and data channels separately up to at least one-hundred twenty-eight (128) audio channels and sixteen (16) data channels. As part of the market research, interested parties are requested to provide the following information: (1) Name and address of firm, (2) Size of business including average annual revenue for the past 3 years, (3) Ownership: Large, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or Women-Owned, (4) Number of years in business, (5) List of customers within the past 5 years which involved relevant work, including a summary of work performed, contract number, contact type, dollar value and customer point of contact/phone number for each reference. This market research information is limited to no more than 10 pages of data (total) and should be forwarded no later than 31 AUG 02 to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, PO Box 190022, North Charleston, SC 29419-9022 Attn: Code 0213DK. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 with a size standard of 750 employees. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price type contract, for a base year with four one-year options.
