- Description
- The Bureau of Labor Statistics intends to award on a sole source basis under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Mr. Mark Wojcik, a training and development consultant of Training & Development Consultant, 8710 Drake Avenue, Skokie, IL 60076 a contract to develop training for the American Time Use Survey, as a sole source provider for services NTE $100,000. Awarding of a sole source contract to Mr. Wojcik is justified on the grounds that he demonstrates a unique capability to provide the services needed. First, the contract requires a principal investigator who holds an advanced degree in training and development and who has five or more years designing and delivering survey training. Mr. Wojcik holds a Masters degree in training and instructional development, and is an adjunct faculty member in the Master??s Program in Training and Development at Roosevelt University. Mr. Wojcik spent three years as the Director of Training at ABT Associates and seven years as the Director of Change Management training at the National Opinion Research Center. In addition to his 10 years experience as director of training in survey research organizations, Mr. Wojcik has an additional 5 years experience designing and delivering training as part of his project management. ------------------- Requirements for the development of the training consist of: ?h Review and evaluate current ATUS training models. ?h Present an evaluation of the current ATUS training models including identification of strengths and weaknesses of each model and making specific recommendations for improving ATUS training ?h Participate in weekly training team meetings. ?h Present recommendations to optimize the design, flow and delivery of training for adult learners. ?h Develop training materials as agreed to by the team. ?h Provide a written evaluation of the current ATUS training models and recommendations described above. ?h Develop methods and tools for conducting ongoing evaluation of ATUS training. One or more individuals with expertise in survey research, adult learning and the development of training materials are needed for this project. The principal investigator for this project should hold an advanced degree in training and development and must have five or more years experience in survey training. Experience with e-learning strategies is desirable but not necessary. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties may express their interest to the Contracting Officer by the due date of this notice of intent either by e-mail, or facsimile at 202-691-6026. If there are no affirmative written responses received within (15) calendar days from the published date of this notice, The Bureau of Labor Statistics will proceed with the awarded.
