- Description
- Please Note in paragraph titled SMALL BUSINESS CODE that the NAICS code 611710 size standard has increased. It is now $6,000,000 in average gross revenues. The rest of the pre-solicitation notice remains the same. See Below ... SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires the services of a qualified vendor to electronically program, maintain, secure, administer and score multiple-choice tests under a contract with a base period and four option years. There are about 12 categories of tests, each one comprised of one to three pools of questions and each pool comprised of about 50 to 150 questions. OCC will provide the test questions and grading schematic. The test candidates are OCC bank examiners who work out of OCC?s 70+ field offices across the country. The tests will be administered by the contractor in testing centers which should be located within a 50-mile radius of each of OCC?s field offices. OCC will specify the dates and length of test periods in which OCC bank examiners are allowed to take the test(s). Each test period will be about six weeks long and there may be three to four test periods per year. The tests themselves take one to four hours to complete. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation through this web site the week of July 29. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC?s requirements, the instructions for submitting a quotation, and how the quotations will be evaluated. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding a contract on or about the week of October 1 using the simplified acquisition process under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in Subpart 13.5. SMALL BUSINESS CODE. NAICS code 61171, Educational Support Services; $5,000,000 average gross revenues. #####
