Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron at Andrews AFB, MD is seeking proposals from small business for the Lease of two 2002-year model diesel powered Commercial Shuttle Buses. The buses will shuttle passengers between Andrews's air passenger terminal and departing/arriving aircraft for the 89 Aerial Port Squadron. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The SIC Code is 7513 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532120. The NAICS Code standard size is $21.5 million. Selection will be based on descriptive literature, past performance and price. All information required for submission of an offer is included in the solicitation. The government is contemplating a contract for the basic period and two one-year option periods. The government reserves the right not to exercise the options. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the government to pay for proposal preparation cost. All firms planning to submit a proposal should attend the site visit/pre-proposal conference on 23 May 2002. Potential offerors are reminded to register in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQURIED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (MAR 2000), lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(1), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; the solicitation may be download free of charge via the Internet at (http://www.eps.gov/spg/USAF/AMC/89CONS/postdate_1.html). The Government will not provide paper sets. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation will be made available only on the Internet. It will be the contractor?s responsibility to check the website daily for any posted changes. All responsible sources may submit a proposal.
