Description
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to seek information from interested parties with recent experience in database development modification, enhancements and implementation. This relevant experience must include expertise in developing, modifying and implementing changes to systems using Oracle 8i, Informatica, and Microstrategy 7.0. The FEC is in process of modifying its current Disclosure Database and campaign finance data processing procedures to comply with the recently enacted Bi-Partisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA). Modification will include changes to Oracle 8i tables, addition of data fields/elements, adding tables and the corresponding changes required to Informatica and the Microstrategy applications. It is the intent of the FEC to solicit a limited General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule competition, based upon the response to this request of qualified GSA schedule holders with the requisite experience in data base development/modification and implementation in the areas outlined above. Before making this determination, the FEC will take into consideration the number of interested respondents. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System code is 541511. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY!!! The Government will NOT pay for any information given in response to this call for information. Submitted documents will NOT be returned to those firms who provide responses to this RFI. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Firms that wish to respond to this RFI should provide the following information: (1) a brief summary of the services offered in response to this RFI, (2) a statement indicating an interest and the capability to provide the services as described, (3) statements of relevant experience using the software listed above, (4) a technical approach to perform the required services described above, and (5) published price lists are due to the Contracting Officer no later than August 14, 2002. Information should be sent to Mr. Aaron H. Ford, Contracting Officer at aford@fec.gov. All interested parties must respond via e-mail with information on their services with sufficient technical and price detail to allow for a detailed evaluation to the Contracting Officer.
