- Description
- Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, and supervision to perform all work required for Project 679-02-106 ?Interior Painting Task Order? at the VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404. Wall prep involves light sanding (10 to 30% of wall surface) and patching of walls (small holes and indentions), Room readiness which includes removal and replacement of wall finishes and moving furnishings (pictures, signs, hand rails, file cabinets, desks, etc.), Painting which includes one coat of paint in designated rooms, rooms will be determined as needs arise. Painting will be primarily in a hospital and office setting. This task order contract will be based on a minimum guarantee of $10,000.00 with a maximum contract value of $115,000.00 for a period not to exceed 2 years, or upon reaching the maximum value, which ever comes first. Individual task order will be of at least 300 square feet per order with a start time of 5 working days after receipt of task order with a completion time to be negotiated on an individual basis. Estimated solicitation issue date is August 7, 2002, with a bid date of September 5, 2002. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235210 and size standard of $12 million applies to this procurement. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds, and is unrestricted pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. There will not be a formal walk through of the hospital for this procurement.
