- Description
- The Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) intends to issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to a company providing services based on the General Services Administration (GSA) contracts awarded under Federal Supply Schedule 874-502, Logistics Worldwide (LOGWORLD). The BPA holder will provide a variety of services in support of selected readiness items. A readiness item is defined as an item that may not be demand supported, but has been identified by the customer as needed to maintain the mission availability of a weapons system. The vendor will monitor the identified population of items within the market for sources; monitor the items for obsolescence, and when required accept an electronic order to procure IAW applicable acquisition regulations and deliver the item to a customer or to a stocking location within quoted delivery timeframes. The BPA holder will be required to submit a quote in response to an order within set timeframes to DSCC for evaluation. The BPA holder is expected to comply with all applicable acquisition regulations in performance of the BPA. The population of selected readiness items may include a variety of items from multiple Federal Supply Classes including but not limited to 1220, 1240, 1260, 1265, 1285, 1287, 1290, 1420, 1430, 1440, 5810, 5820, 5825, 5840, 5850, 5855, 5860, 5865, 5895, 5905, 5910, 5915, 5920, 5925, 5930, 5935, 5945, 5950, 5955, 5960-5965, 5980, 5985, 5990, 5996, 5998, 5999, 6020, 6021, 6030, 6060, 6625, and 6145. The BPA period is anticipated to run from September 30, 2002 through September 30, 2007 or to the end of the GSA Schedule Contract period whichever is earlier. Annual performance reviews will be completed. Written proposals will be requested. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
