Description

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy intends to contract with TANO Automation, Inc. on a sole source basis for the provision of spare parts and replacement equipment for the T-AO Machinery Control System Simulator (MCSS), Engine Room Console (ERC). TANO Automation, Inc. was the original manufacturer/installer of the system. The contractor shall be required to provide replacement parts and equipment that are identical and compatible to the existing ERC components. Interested parties must be able to demonstrate the ability to procure the required proprietary replacement parts and equipment. See Numbered Note 22. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
