Description

J-U. S. Dept of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (NESDIS), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of Hawaii, at Snug Harbor Marine Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to provide an outdoor storage area, outdoor work area, machine shop assistance equipment rental, and purchasing agent assistance to the Marine Optical Buoy, (MOBY) project. The University will continue to provide a portion of the Marine Center facility on which the MOBY project has erected a large tent, positioned vans, and stored other equipment. Utilities provided include electricity, water, trash removal, telephone, and internet services. This is a notice of intent and cannot be considered a solicitation, therefore no solicitation package exist. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. Reference NE-02-102
