- Allegiance Healthcare Corporation is sponsoring its 2nd Small Business Procurement conference on August 28, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077. A networking reception will take place at the Doubletree Hotel North Shore on Tuesday, August 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The conference will be an information exchange for small businesses serving the healthcare market and is a great opportunity to learn how to conduct business with Allegiance. Allegiance representatives will evaluate participants’ potential to meet current and future Allegiance requirements. Participants will have the opportunity to talk directly with Allegiance personnel that influence buying decisions. Due to space limitations, Allegiance is seeking small businesses that are self-certified or that are already certified by Small Business Administration as: Small, Small Woman-Owned, Small Disadvantaged; Small Veteran-Owned; Small Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, and or Small HUBzone businesses. The conference is free but you must register in advance as soon as possible as space is limited. Hotel accommodations are available at the nearby Doubletree Hotel North Shore (800) 879-4458 and must be made no later than August 6.
