- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 611420 and SIC Code is 8243 with a $6M size standard. Services to be performed: Windows 2000 MCSA Bootcamp Format 10 days of training. Days 1 ? 4: Windows 2000 Professional (Core requirement), Windows 2000 Server (Core requirement); Day 5: Review and Testing 70-210 Windows 2000 Professional and 70-215 Windows 2000 Server; Days 6-8: Managing a Windows 2000 Network Environment and Testing 70-218; Days 9-10: Administering a Windows 2000 Network Environment and Testing 70-216. The course shall consist of both lecture and hands-on experience and will teach the student the fundamentals necessary to perform this task in the workplace. Additionally 4 test vouchers must be provided for each student (1 for each test required for MCSA certification). Exchange 2000 Server Design and Administration: 5 Days This course consists of both lecture and hands-on experience to teach the fundamentals of designing, installing and administering Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 as well as helping to prepare for passing the Exchange Server certification test. Additionally 1 test voucher must be provided for each student. The instructor shall provide all course materials and resources necessary for both classes. This includes reference books, handouts and lab exercises. On-site testing is preferred. The product descriptions provided above are meant to show the Government?s minimum requirements. Offerors can quote with like items, but must submit evidence of capability and compatibility of replacements. Offerors quoting equals must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the equal item. Required performance is tentatively scheduled for August 2002 at Edwards AFB CA. All bidders must submit completed FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, contact the contract specialist to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Additionally all bidders must be current registrants in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) Offers are due at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Edwards AFB, CA, 93524 by COB (1630 PST) July 23, 2002 and are limited to 15 pages.
