- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-02-T-0048 is issued as a request for quotations. 55 CONS intends to issue a purchase order for the Repair of J2112S warehouse floor in Bldg D. Remove 3100 square feet of floor space and replace with a nominal 1/8? DoubleBroadCast/Topical Chemical Resistant Epoxy Floor System. Scope of work to include the following: Remove +/- 3100 SF of failed flooring. Prepare the flooring by use of vacuum attached mechanical shot-blasting equipment and vacuum attached hand grinders. Patch and repair flooring with epoxy materials as needed in order to provide a sounds and smooth subtrate. Prime Floor. Squeegee approximately 30 mils of pigmented epoxy resins. Broadcast silica and to excess and sweep excess sand after cure. Squeegee a 2nd lift of 30 mils pigmented epoxy resins. Broadcast silica and to excess and sweep excess sand after cure. Topcoat the system with an additional 15 mils of chemical resistant resins. Complete any final touch up and clean. The complete SoW has been attached. This solicitation is issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 235520; the NAICS size standard is 12 Million; and the SIC Code is 1752. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database BY AWARD DATE will make a bidder ineligible for award. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE.
