Description

Provide all plant, labor, equipment, supplies, and coordination necessary to replace Water Well 7. The existing Water Well 7 has become unusable, so this Project will build a replacement water well and pump house on Macon Street at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, near DRMO. The design calls for the well to be at least 12 inches in diameter and producing a minimum of 1000 gallons per minute. Construct the well house of Ground Face CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit). Provide all equipment necessary for chemical distribution, connected to the base's existing SCADA system. Connect utilities such as water main, sanitary sewer, and power to existing utilities. This Requirement will be solicited under full and open competition procedures using the competetive Request for Proposals method. It is our intention to award a Firm Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR 15. The magnitude of this construction project is $500,000 - $1,000,000. The estimated date for release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or around 25 Jul 02, with an estimated response date of 26 Aug 02 02. The Official Copy of the Solicitation will not be provided on Compact disk (CD-ROM) or paper, and can only be accessed on the WEB Site: http://www.gov or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated period of performance is 359 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 234910, with an associated $28.5 Million annual receipts. The Government is not responsible for notifying potential offerors of changes to the Solicitation. All changes, modifications, and other pertinent information will be posted on the web site above for viewing.
