Description

The intent of this contract is to recoat the interior and exterior of a 35,000 gallon steel domestic water reservoir and make plumbing modifications to the water system. While the tank is offline provide temporary facilities for maintaining supply and pressure for the water system. The Multnomah Falls facility is located adjacent to Interstate 84 at the Multnomah Falls Exit (Exit 31). The project may also be reached from the Columbia River Gorge Historic Highway. The reservoir is located on the hillside directly behind the Multnomah Falls Lodge. The Government Estimate is between $100,000 and $150,000. Bonding is required as follows: Bid-20%, Performance-100%, and Payment-100%. Work is expected to take place between September 3, 2002, and May 23, 2003, with 45 calendar day completion time. The NAIC code is 234910. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. Documents will be available at this website only on approximately July 30, 2002.
