- Description
- The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a firm-fixed priced contract to purchase a variable restraint assembly calibration kit. The variable restraint assembly calibration kit is required for the C-17 aircraft. The national stock number (NSN) for this item is: 5120-01-384-7539BA. The part number (P/N) is: 17G120058-1. The calibration kit provides a retainer and a driver. The retainer is a steel plate machined to resemble the mounting flange of the 17B9E3020 actuator. The retainer has two (2) .1900-32UNF threaded holes, a recess in one face, and a 1/2 inch diameter hole through which the driver is inserted. The driver is a steel rod with external splines on one end and a square drive hole on the opposite end to interface with a socket wrench extension. Dimensions of the required item are: 1.3" X 1.3" X 0.4" Thickness (Retainer). 1" Diameter X 2" Length (Driver). Material: CRES. Weight 3 LBS. The requirement supports full and open competition.
