Description

Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish Project MIN 02-6019A, Install Fire Protection Sprinklers at I-01 and J-01 Missile Alert Facilities, at Minot AFB, ND, in accordance with specifications MIN 02-6019A and drawing sheets 1 thru 2 of 2. Project involves work located throughout the entire Missile Alert Facility Structure, with work allowed at only one site at a time. Work under this contract includes but is not limited to installation of new dry-pipe sprinkler system per NFPA 13 through incorporation into existing fire pump system. Additionally, work will require installation of wiring to Fire Alarm Control Panel as well as to power dry pipe air compressor. Work is 5% general, 90% mechanical, and 5% electrical. Project magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000. Project solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be made available on or about 22 Jul 02. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet; the address is http://www.eps.gov. Anyone wishing to participate on this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the Internet. Copies will not be mailed out of this office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the Internet to update their files. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-a-side. The applicable small business size standard for interested small business concerns including their affiliates is not more than $12 million in average annual receipts for the preceding three years. The North American Industry Classification System code is 235990.
