Description

Solicitation # N1344020026. The National Park Service, Southeast Utah Group, Moab UT 84532, intends to negotiate a Sole Source Contract, in accordance with FAR Part 12, with Far North Aquatics, PO Box 61624, Fairbanks AK 99706, for a follow on contract for Remote Monitoring Systems. Work includes production of Sound level meter/data loggers capable of simultaneous measurement of A, C, and 1/3 octave band data; data output to RS232 serial port; >80 dB dynamic range. Equipment shall maintain operational capabilities unattended for up to one month; save dB levels (A, C, and 1/3 OB data) at one-second intervals; digitally record as .wav files noise events that exceed a user defined threshold; digitally record ambient sounds at a user defined sampling scheme; and have >4 GB storage. Equipment must be able to produce Digital Video recordings of subject area (or species) if sound levels exceed a user-defined threshold. The duration of the video clip will be user defined, but must be at least 15 seconds and must include the subject area before, during, and following the event. More details are to found in the Scope of Work. A paper solicitation will not be issued.
