- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ 247-0334-02 and is a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 01-07. Award will be made to a small business provided that a minimum of two competitive offers are received from small business concerns; if two or more offers are not received from qualified small businesses, award will be made on the basis of full and open competition from among all responsible business concerns submitting offers. NAICS Code 334111 applies for this procurement and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC has identified the need for ten (10) each long life, battery powered/fully automatic charging system, AC Power Source, mobile LAPTOP WORKSTATION; ten (10) each hospital grade RETRACTABLE CORD no less than 10 ft.; and ten (10) each additional TABLE TOP SURFACE. FOB Destination. This will be a firm fixed price contract. Required delivery is 30 days after award. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical description on their company letterhead or bid form. Offerors must clearly identify Name and Model of items offered. Include descriptive literature that sufficiently details product characteristics of items offered. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000); 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2002), a completed copy of which shall be included with the offer; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2002); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (b) (11) through (16), (19)(ii), (21) and (25). No additional FAR clauses cited in FAR 52.212-5 apply; FAR 52.233-2 Service of Protest. The following VAAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation: 852.233-70 Protest Content; 852.233-71 Alternate Protest Procedure.
