Description

NA solicitation due 07/12/2002 by 1:00 pm EST, POC Saundra V. Diggs, Purchasing Agent, (757) 878-2408. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 with additional informat ion included in this notice. The solicitation number is DABT57-02-T-0087 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purchase of 30 ton Sling Sets. Slings are mission critical pieces of equipment. It is crucial that the materials and components for these sling sets be made IAW FF TACS 287-4 (Federal Specifications for Slings). Sling has to be made within 3 week af ter receipt of order. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 5085, Industrial Supplies. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business with a small business non-manufacturer size standard of 5.0 million employees. This is an “all or none” contract. Brochures are to be provided for use. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Ite ms (NOV 1999), applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition s – Commercial Items (MAY 1999), applies to this acquisition. NOTICE - ALL VENDORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION BEFORE ANY AWARD OF A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACT CAN BE MADE.
