Description

17. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE procurement with Thermo Detection, 20 Alpha Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824 for maintenance of 6 each EGIS 3000 explosives detection equipment. Services include unlimited corrective maintenance service call at the customer site,(2)prevetative maintenance visits at the customer site, unlimited telephone support to the customers, the cost of all services labor and parts will be borne by vendor. This support will be provided for a 1 year service agreement from date of award, 7 days a week, 24 hours per day. This award will be made utilizing the Simplified acquisitions procedures under FAR subpart 13.5. Award will be based on meeting the requirement listed above. All interested parties must submit a technical proposal that demonstrate capability to provide support services for the Thermo Detection EGIS 3000 within 7 days after date of this publication. All quotes must include detailed literature on ability and resources to perform this service. Awardee must complete an SF-3381, ACH/Vendor miscellaneous Payment Enrollment Form, for payment via electronic funds transfer Quotes are acceptable by mail or fax to 202 927-8688 to ATTN: Sonia Goodman All responses must be in writing, No telephone inquires will be accepted. No solicitation will be issued.
