Description
Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to provide a Buoy Yard Upgrade at the US Coast Guard Shore Side Detachment in Paris, Tennessee, Henry County. Work includes but is not limited to: 1) concrete paving of approximately 160 square feet inside buoy yard; 2) fabricating and installing approximately 430 linear feet of 7 foot high steel platform and railing system for personnel; 3) furnishing and installing exterior site lighting for approximately 1600 square feet; and 4) conducting minor asphalt patch repair for about 200 square feet. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 234930. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipts of $28.0 million. Estimated construction price range is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. Performance period is 60 calendar days. All bid requests must be submitted in writing, and may be faxed to (305)278-6696. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSBDU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guarantee on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
