Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please reference NMA100-02-Q-0015 with your quote and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This solicitation is total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 322226. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase a total of 2,000 map jackets for the storage of original lithographic copies of NIMA and foreign maps and charts. The map jackets must meet the following specification: 1) A quantity of 1,500 shall be "42.5" wide by 31.5" high 2) A quantity of 375 shall be " 25.5" wide by 31.5" high 3) A quantity of 125 shall be "24.5 wide by 31.5" high. All map jackets shall be designed to protect maps. The jackets should be made of heavy-duty wallet stock. The folders should have 2"accordin expansion gusset on two short sides and bottom, open at top. The top front of the folder should have a flap at dimension up to 18" deep. A sample of the folder is required to be submitted to Charlene Foster Brown located at Bethesda Complex, 171 Erskine Hall, Mail Stop D-91, Bethesda, MD 20816 for approval prior to fabrication. Delivery is FOB Destination 30 days after approval of the sample folder. The following clause is applicable to this solicitation 52.213-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- For Non Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All quotes must be received by 2:30p.m. on 22 July 2002. All quotes must be submitted by Facsimile at 301-227-2306. No quotes will be accepted via telephone.
