Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, proposes to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the following construction project: Red River Below Denison Dam, Aloha - Rigolette Project, LA, Sam's Bayou and Bayou Darrow, Sam's Bayou Realignment. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the realignment of Sam's Bayou between its confluence with Bayou Rigolette and the existing Sam's Bayou closure, including removal of the existing Sam's Bayou clo sure; and clearing and snagging of Bayou Darrow from immediately north of the new Bayou Darrow Floodgates to its junction with Sam's Bayou, thence up Sam's Bayou and ending at the south end of the existing Sam's Bayou closure. Principal features of work i nclude mobilization and demobilization, clearing, clearing and snagging, channel excavation, fertilizing and seeding excavated material disposal areas, and environmental protection.
