- Description
- The Administration on Aging, through the Program Support Center, Division of Acquisition Management, has a requirement to provide a contract for technical assistance in researching and analyzing the FY 2001 State Ombudsman Report data and assistance in developing the National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Report. The purpose is to collect state data, compile preliminary 2001 data tables and 2002 data. Also the contractor shall be reviewing the automated National Ombudsman Reporting Systems (NORS) and making recommendations for improvement and associated data. The Government anticipates making a fixed-price award utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Marianne Follingstad, 1622 Gruenther Avenue, Rockville, Maryland 20851. The period of performance for award will be twelve months after purchase order award. The anticipated award date is July 26, 2002. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within ten (10)days after the date of publication of the notice. The proposed simplified acquisition action is for supplies and services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. No Solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed simplified Acquisitions based upon responded to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
