Description

NA Synopsis number: AXQD 999154. Construction Services. The project covered by this Statement of Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials, fabrications and transportation to construct New Support Facilities and associated s ite work. New facilities are as follows: Security Forces Facility 10,400 square feet (SF), addition to medical training area 3,400 SF:, and standalone Accessory Building 1,400 SF. Renovation of the following Facilities: Communications and Audiovisual area 11 ,700 SF. Medical and Training Area 6,500 SF, and Operations and Training Area 1, 100 SF. The project includes the demolition of metal storage building of approximately 1500 SF to accommodate New Security Forces Facility parking area. New work includes s ite work: concrete and bituminous pavements, landscaping, and masonry structure with steel framed deck with built-up roof construction. Interior finishes include drywall partitions, carpeting, ceramic tile, paint, folding partitions, and associated bathroo m lockers and plumbing equipment. Standard utilities are included. Extensive exterior communication systems shall be included which encompasses both copper and fiber optic cabling. All work is located at Barnes ANG Base, Westfield, MA. Performance period i s 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Prime contractor will be required to perform 20% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted. All par ties qualified to perform under SIC codes 1531 Building Construction and 1731 (Electrical) (NAICS Codes: 233310 & 235310) are invited to either mail or fax request (with company letterhead) for IFB Number: DAHA19-02-B-0003 to the USPFO, MA at 508-233-6691, ATT: CW3 Thomas Lamont. Only one bid set will be provided to each requestor. Solicitation packages are expected to be issued on or about July 19, 2002 with a Bid Opening Date of September 05, 2002.This office no longer distributes plans and specifications . Further information will be announced in the solicitation package regarding obtaining Plans & Specifications. You will be charged a fee. You must have a request for plans & specifications on file at the Contracting Office, United States Property & Fiscal Office, 50 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757. This is to ensure this office has an accurate Bidders Mailing List in the event any Solicitation Amendments are necessary.
