Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Applied Microsystems LTD, Sidney, BC, Canada, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes the refurbishment, calibration, and upgrade of government-owned Sound Velocity (SV) and Sound Velocity & Temperature (SV&T) Smart Sensors (probes) manufactured by Applied Microsystems, Ltd. The resulting contract will be a fixed price, level of effort, requirement type, for a period of three years, beginning from date of award. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
