Description

NA Removal and disposal of extisting weir embankemnt. Construction of an approximately 185 foot long earthen embankment with an adjustable weir plact on a concrete mounting frame at top of embankment. Perform site clearing and diversion of a river. Improve access road to project site. Placement of geotextile and stone riprap. Construct cut-off trench, lined with a composite of clay/geotextile liner, up gradient of the embankment. The procurement is unrestricted and the applicable NAICS code is 234990 wit h a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will issue on/about 15 Jul 2002 with bid to be opened on/about 15 Aug 2002. Solicitation documents will only be available via the Web, hard copies will not be available. Offerors may view and/or downl oad the solicitation and all amendments from the Internet at the following address: https//ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on (or after) the issue date. If any offeror information changes during the advertisement period, offerors are responsible to make changes t o their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving the solicition and any amendments. Offerors are responsible for priting papaer copies of the solicitaiton. Bonding is required. Affirmativ e action will also apply. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be made as a whole to one offeror. All contractors must be registered in the DoDs Central Contract Register before award, as required by DFARS 204.7300. Instructions will be inc luded in the solicitation.
