Description

Shipboard Antennas shall provided on a as needed basis to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston. All antennas must be certified to MIL-S-901D for Shock, MIL-STD-167 for Vibration and all service conditions of MIL-HDBK-2036. If the antenna is shipped in two sections, zinc based anti-seize A-A-59313 must be supplied. All antennas will be shipped in a reusable wooden box that will not scratch/damage the antenna in any way. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year and four one-year option periods to extend the term of the contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 33422 and the size standard is 750 employees. Subject procurement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside(See Numbered Note 1). All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered for award. The anticipated solicitation release date is 29 July 2002 and will be available at the SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston Website address: http://www-chas.spawar.navy.mil. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments (if any). No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. The anticipated award date of the subject contract is 20 September 2002.
