- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a procurement for a quantity of seven (7) Common Rack and Launcher Test Sets (CRALTS), P/N 3260AS100-2, in addition to an option quantity of four (4) each. This requirement is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c )(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Metric Systems Corporation, as the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the items to be acquired, is the only known source with the proprietary knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to supply the required items. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE NOTE 22.
