Description

DHHS/PSC/DAM intends to negotiate a sole source simplified acquisition with Hinmon Productions, Inc., 9213 Graceland Place, Fairfax, VA 22031, for the Division of Federal Occupational Health (DFOH) on the basis of other than full and open competition. The authority for this noncompetitive award is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as set forth in FAR 13.106-1(b). The purpose of this project is to edit footage of a three-part training video owned by Hinmon Productions, Inc. The contractor shall add new footage and shall revise portions of the existing videos to include current information. The contractor shall edit three 15-20 minute training CD-ROMS, two Bloodborne Pathogen training videos and one Tuberculosis training video. This three-part video is an outgrowth of an Economy Act inter-agency agreement between DFOH and the Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service. The period of performance will be for approximately four and one-half months from the date of award. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit written documentation that demonstrates the ability to respond to this requirement within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. This notice is NOT a request for proposals; however, capability statements received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be in writing and refer to 02DEH110005 to the attention of Susan Moran. If no affirmative responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a purchase order to Hinmon Productions, Inc. The NAICS code is 541990.
