Description
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a competitive bid to remove a total of 17 modular units which are assembled to create 4 building units at U.S. Naval Hospital, located at U.S. Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. The work consists of disconnecting, removing, and termination of the following utilities so as to allow removal of the modular trailer units and abandon balance of utilities in place as directed by the Contracting Officer ? electrical power, LAN/Voice cabling plant, domestic water service, sanitary sewer service, remote hvac units/ductwork. Demolish, remove and dispose (off government property) interconnecting canopy, walkways, ramps, skirting, and stairs. Disassemble factory shipping splits, removal of tie-downs, removal of units off of foundations, re-installation of wheels and axles, temporary weather, proofing of the open units, haul off units and disposal of all debris (off government property) related to this scope of work. Final clean up of the site to include disposal of all debris, to include foundation and blocking materials, anchors, strapping, piping, electrical cabling, patching of sanitary sewer manhole, protection of the existing facility and surrounding area from damage. Workmen?s compensation insurance with the Defense Base Act is a requirement for this procurement. Performance and Payment bonds are required in the full amount of the bid price, or a certified check in the full amount. Performance period must not exceed 30 calendar days to complete.
