- NA Firm fixed price purchase order. The contractor shall provide 2 Mobile Lab carts for 30 laptops. 15 Amp, 120 volt, 60Hz power, two 19 outlet surge protected power strips (inside rear access not suitable for external equipment), 3 doors with drill resistant locks, 5in soft rubber heavy duty castors (2 locking), vented on sides and doors, retention clips for cable management and 16 gauge steel construction - handle on each side, 2 additional external ac outlets, 4 reinforced steel doors and Velcro cable ties in slot in each bay for superior cable management. The contractor shall design, engineer and install instructor mobile cart with lockable cabinets to provide an appealing appearance of equipment and wiring. All equipment wiring will be connected from withi n the cart. The contractor shall furnish cart with internal airflow sufficient to keep components from overheating. System sound from cart components shall not interfere with the student's ability to hear classroom instruction. The contractor shall furni sh mobile cart that shall provide computer-lab instruction software that uses a wireless network to create focused learning. A single mobile computer cart route system with high-resolution matrix switching capability for proper routing of all imaging and a udio sources, computers, deliver software demonstrations to each projector and computer and focus students attention. All equipment will be rack mounted within the cabinet. Projector shall have the capability of outward camera projection, allowing for cabi net doors to be closed during operation and shall not interfere with the student's ability to hear classroom instruction. The contractor shall furnish and install one complete computer mobile cart and components for government approval prior to installatio n of the remaining computer mobile cart. The mobile lab cart must fit through standard size doors. The prototype mobile computer cart shall be ready for inspection within six weeks from contract award date. The contractor shall furnish and install 60 lap top computers with the following specifications, all drives will be internal: (30 in each cart) OEM Windows 2000 Professional; Pentium III class processor 1GHz or better; 256KB On-die cache memory; RAM upgradeable to 640MB of SDRAM; 2-type II PCMCIA slots; Integrated glide Pad pointing device; Integrated 3D sound and Speakers; Integrated AGP video/Up to 32MB (UMA); Integrated 10/100 NIC and 56K V.90 modem; 1-parallel, 1-PS/2. 2-USB & Headphone Port; 1-VGA and 1-TV-Out Port, 1 Microphone In; Security Lock Po rt; Lithium Ion Battery & AC Adapter/Charger; 1 extra lithium ION battery per laptop. 128MB memory installed; Internal 1.44MB 3.5 in Floppy Dive (Standard); Upgrade to 20GB Ultra DMA Hard Drive; Internal 24X CD-ROM; Intel-Networking Pro/wireless 500 LAN ca rd bus Nic 802.11a. The contractor shall furnish and install 2 servers with the following specifications, all drives will be internal: (1 in each cart) CVT silhouette 15in Pentium III All-in-One LCD PC - 2 each; Pentium III 1GHz or better; Socket 370 for P entium III to 1GHZ; 133MHZ FSB; RAM upgradeable to 512MB (2 slots); Integrated direct AGP/ up to 32MB video (UMA); Integrated 3D audio system; Integrated 10/100 NIC & 56K V.90 fax/modem; Built-in Slimline 3.5. Floppy drive; Built-in Slimline CD-ROM drive; Built-in stereo speaker system; IEEE 1394 Firewall Port; 1-EPP/ECP Parallel Port; 1-16550 Serial Port; 1-Ext. VGA Port; 1-S-video-in Port; 2-PS/2, 1-Microphone & 1-speaker Out Port; 4-USB Ports and 1-IrDA 1.1/FIR infrared Port; Microsoft MOLP V5.0 Governme nt Windows Server 2000 Govt.; Microsoft - WWF Wwf Windows NT Server 4.0 Disk Kit Cd Sp4; 256MB SDRAM DIMM module; 33MHZ; 60GB Ultra ATA 100 7200RPM Hard Drive; Wireless 104-keyboard Enhanced Keyboard; Wireless Microsoft Intellimouse w/roller; INTEL-Wireles s Products Pro/wireless 5000 LAN Card bus Adapter 802.11a Wis. The contractor shall furnish and install 2 each projector systems with high-resolution and indexi ng capability. (1000 ANSI or greater XGA resolution, 1024 x 768 resolution) imaging projectors. Projectors shall be housed and secured inside computer mobile cart and interface with instructors mobile cart operations. (1 projector in each cart) The contra ctor shall furnish and install 2 each LaserJet network printers. The functional capability should be 15PPM, 10,000 pages capable, 16MB memory, network capable and 250-sheet paper tray. Printers shall be housed and secured inside computer mobile cart and in terface with instructors mobile cart operations. (1 printer in each cart) The contractor shall provide training to 4 instructors as required to perform operations and understanding of systems functionality. This is a solicitation done in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 for commercial items. The proposals shall be evaluated based on technical and past performance being equal to price. The following FAR Clauses are applicable: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, 52.212-2 Evaluation (Price, Past Performance) , 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions - Statutes, 52.232-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer. This requirement is one hundred percent sma ll business set-aside for small business firms. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 443120 with a size standard of $7,500,000.
