Description

The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite Data Information Service (NESDIS), Office of Systems Development (OSD) plans to extend the existing contract with Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia, to provide for an additional six months of engineering support services in support of the United States Civil Meteorological Satellite Program. This contract provides critical engineering support service which, if interrupted or discontinued, would jeopardize the United States Civil Meteorological Program. In order to continue engineering services without interruption. It is imperative that the Government extend the current contract until a new competitive follow-on contract is awarded.
