Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, Maryland River, intends to procure Repair, Maintenance, Supply, Installation and Data support services for Air Traffic Control equipment supported by NAWCAD Patuxent River, Air Traffic Control Systems Division at various Navy's Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facilities (FACSFACs). The FACSFACs contain radar, communication equipment, multimedia display suites, and state-of-the-art air traffic control systems which are used to safely manage Navy off-shore operational training and testing areas for military aircraft and ships. Typical configurations at each FACSFAC that require support include a general radio communication system, a Navy Tactical Data System (NTDS) and the following three major subsystems: FACSFAC Air Control Tracking System (FACTS) AN/FYK-17B(V), FACSFAC Scheduling System (FACSKED) AN/FYK-23 and Radar Beacon Digitizer (RBD) CV-3682/UPX or the Radar Beacon Data Extractor (RBDX) CV-4346/UPX. As part of this effort, NAWCAD Patuxent River Code 4.5.8.3 also supports FACSFAC and Stand Alone Radar Console (STARCON) equipment for the following sites: FACSFAC Jacksonville ? NAS Jacksonville, Florida; FACSFAC VACAPES ? NAS Oceana, Virginia; FACSFAC San Diego ? NAS North Island, California; FACSFAC Pearl Harbor ? NB Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; FACSFAC Pearl Harbor ? NB Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; FACSFAC Caribbean - NS Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico; FACSFAC Pensacola ? NAS Pensacola, Florida; Naval Integrated Air War Training Center - NAS Fallon, Nevada; Air Force Utah Test and Training Range - Hill AFB, Utah; Naval Air Station - Whidbey Island, Washington; Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, - Patuxent River, Maryland; Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, - Patuxent River St. Inigoes, Maryland; Naval Air Station - Kingsville, Texas. The primary place of performance will be at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River St. Inigoes, Maryland. The period of performance will include 1 base year and four option years with an estimated start date of 1 October 2002. The estimated Level of Effort is 124,800 hours. This is a follow-on procurement to N00421-98-C-1122 awarded to Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc..
