Description
NA Contractor shall furnish all services and labor for moving and transporting office furniture, equipment, and supplies currently located within the United States Disciplinary Barracks (USDB), Ft. Leavenworth, KS., for relocation of the facility to the new l ocation of the United States Disciplinary Barracks, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. The contractor shall provide the personnel, vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform the required services and will be accomplished in accordance with the Performa nce Work Statement (PWS). The proposed period of performance for the contract is to commence no earlier than 12 Aug 02 and complete no later than 07 Oct 02. A site visit will be conducted on 16 Jul 02 and attendance will be limited to two (2) individuals per contractor. All interested parties will submit names and identification information by close of business 11 Jul 02 in order for security inquiries to be completed on all persons intending to participate in the site visit of the United States Discipli nary Barracks, which is a maximum security military prison. Additional information will be provided to contractors after receipt of required security information necessary for the site visit. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 488991 with a Small Business Size Standard of $21.5 million. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. Women-owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB), HUB Zone and 8(a) businesses are encouraged t o participate. The Government intends to issue Quotation DABT19-02-Q-0011 no later than 08 Jul 02 via FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). Award of the contract will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer is the best value to the Governmen t.
