Description
This is a sources sought notice. The 56th Fighted Wing Base Chapel has the following recurring requirement on a part time basis: LUKE AFB 1100 PROTESTANT AUDIOVISUAL/SOUND TECHNICIAN 1. Duties And Responsibilities: The Protestant Audiovisual/Sound Technician will: a. Monitor and provide audiovisual/sound requirements for the 1100 Contemporary Worship Service. These services include: 1. Ensure weekly audiovisual and sound aids are available to worship leadership prior to beginning of services. 2. Ensure sound checks are performed on all equipment prior to performances. 3. Report instrument repairs or update needs to Senior Protestant and NCOIC. b. Not exceed 110 annual units. Two units will be authorized each week - 1performance, 1 rehearsal. c. Arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to the start of the service or rehearsal. d. Assist in other musical programs performed within the Protestant parish. e. Be neatly attired, well groomed, and act in a professional manner. 2. Qualifications: The Senior Protestant Chaplain will conduct an interview and an audition. Requirements are individuals with certified technical training in audiovisual and/or sound technology; minimum of 3 years experience as an audiovisual/sound technician. 3. Equipment/Supplies: Requirements for music supplies are submitted in writing (Fund requests Forms) to the chaplain responsible for the service at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the required date. Contractor will prepare an annual budget for such supplies and equipment. 4. Security Of Facility: The contractor will ensure after each rehearsal the areas used are returned to the original condition and the facilities are properly secured. For each weekend worship service he/she needs only to ensure the choir/practice area used is neat and returned to its original condition.
