Description

Potential Sources Sought for Purchase of Marine Camels: Product Description: Marine sea camel composed of composite marine timber with the following dimensions: 8Ft wide, 45Ft long, 4Ft depth. Product Composition: Product is composed of 12"X12" composite marine timber (with black co-extruded outer skin) with four 1 1/4" fiberglass rebar and galvanized hawse pipes. Capacity: Product shall resist a compression force generated by a 650 ton vessel with a lateral speeed between 1-2 knots. Optional: Non-slip fiberglass grating, cleats, lifting eyes and mounting hardware. Quantity: One with option for one additional camel. Destination: USCG Station Rockland, Maine.
