Description
The Bureau of Engraving & Printing ands Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for 500 ea, BEP Part Number 2S000854, 32-subject hanging acrylic frame used to display an uncut sheet of currency (to be inserted by customer). The frame size is 24 15/16 inches x 21 1/8 inches, acrylic thickness shall be 1/10 inch frame to have polished smooth edges, 2 holes in top edge of acrylic, clear oak satin wood rail on top with 2 holes drilled and 1 center slot, chain is brass with S hooks and attaches at each end to be used for hanging. Pack one per polybag and put into special book fold. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ 28-040. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The small business size is 500 employees. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP loading dock at D Street, between 13th & 14Th Street , S.W., Washington DC. The basis for awards shall be price and delivery. The apparent successful awardee may be required to submit a prototype frame to determine acceptability for award. All interested suppliers are requested to submit a written quotation that will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, delivery time, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, duns number and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantage business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA schedule please provide schedule number. Quotations are due June 12, 2002.
