Description

The intent of this specification is to provide a complete, single girder, under-running crane with a 6,000 pound capacity, under-hung, electric wire rope hoist for the Tank Maintenance Facility of the Marine Reserve Unit at Camp Williams, Utah. The crane is intended for indoor use only. The final proposed price for this solicitation shall include the manufacture, delivery, assembly, erection, and testing of all performance characteristics of the crane. The crane shall comply with CMAA 74, OSHA, HM and NEC standards. A. General Description: Type Single girder, under running, overhead crane with an under-hung wire rope hoist Capacity 3 short tons (6,000 lbs) Span 12 ft - 0 in nominal Lift 16 ft - 0 in approximate Runway 54 ft - 0 in approximate (to be provided by contractor) B. Performance Requirements: 1. Rated Load Speed (minimum) Main Hoist: 18 fpm; Trolley: 35 fpm; Bridge: 75 fpm 2.
