Description
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SEEKS SOURCES FOR LEASED SPACE SUITABLE FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A VA PRIMARY CARE CLINIC Requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Minneapolis, MN (VA) currently leases 3261 square feet of space from Points West Realty at the Maplewood Executive Building, Maplewood, MN in which the VA operates a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) for the delivery of Primary Medical Care. The VA intends to enter into negotiations with Points West Realty for a succeeding lease for CBOC space. IAW Federal Acquisition Regulations market evaluation, solicitation, and open competition is required prior to the award of a contract. Therefore, the VA seeks offers for similar space, suitable for the operation of a Primary Care Medical Clinic. Location: Offered properties are to be located in the Maplewood, MN area. Areas that meet the following criteria will be considered: Handicap accessible. Close proximity to Radiology and Laboratory services. The building should be visible, easy to find and accessible from major highways. A ground floor location is preferred. The clinic is to be located in an area that presents a professional appearance and provides patients, employees and visitor with a sense of security. Lease Term: Space is required on or about August 1, 2002. Lease term will be for one (1) year with two (2) option years and the Government having termination rights after 1 years. Other Evaluation Criteria: In addition to the location criteria, offers will be evaluated based on price, relocation expenses, and remodeling costs.
