Description
THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. This work includes: Construct STARS Modernization Project, including but not limited to: install new ductwork and fittings, install new power panels, new square duct, new cable tray and grounding systems, interior architectural upgrades and furnish new lockers. A Request for Offers (RFO) will be issued June 2002. Award will be based on overall best value to the FAA, price and other factors considered. Award will not be based on price alone. The FAA is seeking Small Business contractors with general construction experience versus construction management experience, and expects the contractor to perform 25% of the work with its own forces. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period is 90 days.
