Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, on an other than full and open competitive basis for 3 RESCUE HOIST ADAPTER KITS P/N70070-30005-012. This requirement supports the Tomahawk Operational Test Launch Program at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued against BOA N00383-01-G-015N for the kits. This requirement is being procured under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All inquiries must be addressed in writing to Rachel N. Luther, lutherrn@navair.navy.mil . Responses to this notice must be made within fifteen (15) days after this notice is posted electronically, and should include company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and company literature. Consideration of the responses is solely within the discretion of the Government, generally for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
