Description

NAICS Code 235990. Work includes, but is not limited to: wash and seal building exterior with minor masonry repair of cracks and tuckpointing. The building is five stories and exterior building materials are granite base and limestone facing from basement to second floor and buff colored brick from second floor to the fifth floor. All work will be performed at the U.S. Post Office/Courthouse, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued June 18, 2002, with offers due on June 26, 2002. Anticipated award date is June 28, 2002. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. Note: the solicitation incorporates building elevation drawings only which are not available electronically. Interested parties may request the drawings by writing or faxing the Contracting Officer. The request must include the contractor's business name, street address, and phone number. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. A site visit is recommended.
