Description

Elevator Maintenance Service for the Joseph P. Kinneary U. S. Courthouse, 85 Marconi Blvd., Columbus, Ohio. The performance period is for a one year period with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service, in compliance with the ANSI/ASME Safety Code Requirements, the manufacturer's recommendations, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, etc. Full maintenance service is defined as all services, repairs and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtenances and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts and materials. At a minimum a journey level mechanic will be provided one hour per day, Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. A supervisor is required on site at least one hour per week. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Code is 235950, with a size standard of $11.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement and it is open to all business concerns. The Request for Proposals (RFP) including amendments, etc. (if applicable) will be available only through the FedBizOpps on the internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and amendments (if any). It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The RFP will be posted on or about March 19, 2002. Woman owned, veteran owned and businesses located in Hubzone areas are encouraged to participate.
