- NA The Product Manager, Physical Security Equipment (PM-PSE) plans to increase the maximum dollar amount for the System Engineering and Integration Support Services contract (DAAB07-98-D-6002) with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and extend the contract t erm for an additional six months on a sole source basis. This increase will apply to work within the scope of the current contract, which expires 31 December 2002, and allow for continuity of services while conducting the follow-on competition. The follow- on contract for support is expected to be awarded on a fully competitive basis. Computer Sciences Corporation is uniquely qualified to perform this additional work, which is a continuation of current ongoing programs at an increased operating tempo (OPTEMP O) resulting from Army efforts to increase security of its installations following terrorist attacks on the United States on 11 September 2001. The statutory authority for Other Than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible S ource. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested persons may identify their interest, fully identify their capability, and submit (via e-mail) a proposal to Teresa.White@cacw.army.mil within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this synopsis.
