Description

Dover Air Force Base, Delaware is looking for sources to provide rental washers and dryers to include hook-up, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Approximately 250 machines are to be placed at Dover Air Force Base. This quantity may increase or decrease depending on mission requirements. Please indicate if your business is considered small or large based on NAICS 335224 (Household laundry equipment manufacturing) or 53221 (Consumer electronics and appliances rental). This acquisition is being considered for a Small Business and/or Hubzone set-aside. If your firm is Small Business and/or Hubzone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than 24 May, 2002: (1) SBA certification of Small Business and/or Hubzone eligibility, (2) Capability statement of your firm, and (3) A positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based upon this response, the Contracting Officer will make a determination if there is reasonable expectation of adequate competition for award or to proceed with a Small Business or Hubzone set-aside. We require this information no later than 24 May, 2002.
