Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with aditional information included in this notice. Thihs announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F23ASO204401 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. (iv) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 333314 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (V) This requirement consists of 2 line items. (vi) Line Item 0001: Provide 4 (four) AN/PRC -117F multiband, multimission radio with VHR-Hi/UHF flex antenna (Pt #: 10369-0205), VHF-Low Blade antenna (Pt # A3140084), H-250/U Handset (PT# 10075-1399), KDU Remote Control Cable (Pt # 10511-0704-012), Battery Box, Wide (Pt # 10513-4800-02). The AN/PRC-117F is a multiband multimission manpack radio. It provides continuous frequency coverage from 30 to 512MHz, while offering embedded COMSEC, SATCOM, and ECCM capabilities. FEATURES: Two antenna ports: Allows LOS and ASTCOM without removing antennas. Capable of LOS-SATCOM scanning. High Speed (48-64 Kbps) LOS secure data. High performance waveform (HPW) SATCOM waveform. Embedded COMSEC (KY-57, ANDVT/KYV-5, KG-84C (Modes 1, 2, 3, 4) and Fascinator) interoperability, MIL-STD-188-183 Wideband (25KHz) DAMA SATCOM, SINCGARS ECCM Interoperability, Advanced Key Management, including Crypto Ignition Key (CIK) Capability, Multiple Standard Data Interfaces (RS-232E, MIL-STD-188-114A, and RS-422), full remote control capability, Built in TEST (BIT), sofrware driven, modular architecture. Fully compatible with TSEC-KY-57 and the ANDVT/KYV-5 in voice and data modes. It is compatible with the Fascinator equipment in voice mode and the KG-84C in data mode. Transmit and receive SARQ operations are fully supported for each COMSEC interoperability mode. The radio supports both DS-101 and DS-102 fill interfaces and all common fill devices (KYK-13, KOI-18, KYX-15, and DTD). GPS capability, external dedicated interface, PLGR compatible. Removable keypad/display unit (KDU) up to 250 feet. Desired shipment is in 7 days. FOB shall be destination, and the shipping shall be included in the unit price. (vi) Line item 0002: Provide 4 (four) FFP RF-3080-AT001 UHF SATCOM antenna set. (240-400 MHz). All prices shall be FOB destination and include a commercial warranty. Desired shipment is 7 days after award of order. (vii) The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from htpp://www.arnet.gov/far. (viii) The clause at 52.212-4, contract terms and comditions ? Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://ccr2000.com. (x) The defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not acquisition. (xi) The solicitation due date is 1 March 2002, 1500 1600 EST. (xii) The assigned Contracting Specialist is A1C Mulcahy.
