Description: NA USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires a computer and network architecture to support the operational and research and development requirements of the Defense Environmental Network and Information eXchange (DENIX). The contracto r shall provide a DENIX Web Server host computer system and a Denix Development host computer system, common disk storage across the machines and high-speed access to the Internet. The equipment shall be equal to a SUN Fire Model 280R and a SUN ULTRA 60 Mo del 2360. Period of service will be no later than 21 June 2003. This proposed procurement will be advertised for full and open competition, and will result in a firm fixed-price purchase order under Simplified Acquistion Procedures. Request for DACA42-02-T -0118 will be issued on or about 5 June 2002 with a closing date of 18 June 2002.
