- Description
- Synopsis: The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to furnish all labor, supervision, apparatus, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to respond to all fire alarms and fire emergency calls initiated at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines, Jr. Hospital. Contractor must be able to meet staffing requirements and provide twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week fire suppression services at the facility in accordance with the specifications. The above is for the period beginning on or about 06/1/02 through 05/31/03, plus 4 one-year options to renew. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about 04/16/02. This procurement is unrestricted. NAICS number is 921160. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $10.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
